Calendar difference vs. total days
A date difference can be expressed in two useful ways. Calendar difference answers in years, months and days, while exact duration answers in a fixed number of calendar days. DateTimeWise shows both so you do not have to choose one interpretation.
For example, “1 month” does not always equal the same number of days. February, April and July all have different lengths, so calendar math and fixed-day math naturally produce different-looking answers.
When to use this tool
